The year was 2004...
...and I was a nerdy kid attending my first classes at Virginia Marti College of Art & Design (Lakewood, OH), armed with a hand-me-down Canon Rebel 35mm camera and a ziploc bag full of drawing pencils. My major was Multimedia - digital design, website design, editorial photography, fine art, and traditional illustration - and it was rather like drinking from a firehose. I had a knack for portrait sketching and oil painting up until this point, but the gauntlet of college would eventually turn me into a well-rounded artist with marketable skills. Now I am a full-time graphic and web designer for Dimalanta, (with a flare for photography).
From music to mountains to motorcycles
When not living in the world of corporate design, I have to indulge in my hobbies so I don't go crazy. My absolute favorite thing to photograph (and to enjoy) is motorcycles. I've had more than a few music projects over the years, none with any staying power, but they did produce a few decent tunes. I'm also a professional vocalist, avid karaoke singer, and an occasional DJ/MC for JDJ Mobile Entertainment.
These days I live in Northern Ohio, though I spent most of my life in Colorado; so any chance I get, you will find me photographing every facet of its amazing geography, ideally in the company of my equally-skilled brother (Treadlight)
